[reformatted by douglas, splitting the report into 2 bugs]

I created these PDFs in Crown Quarto format:

 http://objavi.flossmanuals.net/books/ActivitiesGuideSugar-en-2010.07.12-21.01.48.pdf

 http://objavi.flossmanuals.net/books/ReadingandSugar-en-2010.07.13-20.54.17.pdf

The blank page before the Introduction is given page number 1.

  • Cc adam, aco, douglas, anne, mushon added; adam aco douglas removed
  • Description modified (diff)
  • Keywords css added; page numbering, table of contents removed
  • Status changed from new to accepted
  • Summary changed from Page numbering and TOC issues with OBJAVI II to Page numbering issues with OBJAVI II

I have split the TOC numbering off as #226. I suspect it is unrelated.

Mushon, cc'ed you in case you have CSS-fu to suggest. I think it is a CSS thing.

James -- does the same thing happen in other sizes?

Yes, it does. It seems to be specific to "Make Your Own Sugar Activities!" because I don't remember *ever* seeing page numbers in the TOC with OBJAVI PDFs of that book. I have also made many PDFs of it in the default "Comic Book" size.

When I first made a PDF of "Reading And Leading With Sugar" and saw page numbers in the TOC I thought it was a new feature of OBJAVI.

Yes, it does. It also happens in the Comic Book size. (Ignore my comment about the TOC. I was confused).

this issue was caused by no and 'incorrect' use of sections in floss manuals. I have corrected this for the books so I am going to close it

essentially (for future ref) the issue came down the books having no section before the first chapter. In one book (the one with no page numbers in the toc) there were no sections at all.
